CLIENT: Gait Lacrosse

PROJECT: Gait brand development and visual brand language - (2011)

Gait Lacrosse wanted to develop a new brand image and strategy for their company and asked us to help.

First, we started by conducting ethnographic research on Gait's target market to indentify what consumers really wanted in a lacrosse brand. Next, we analyzed Gait's competitiors to find ways in which they could be unique in the market place. In addition, we conducted brand building workshops with Gait to help them refine their strategy.

After the strategy was formed, we then created a plan to implement the new brand through products, communications and experiences. We created for them a visual brand language and created inspirational pieces that showed the team how to use their VBL in products, marketing communications and brand experiences.

Lastly, we documented the work in a VBL guide which their internal teams used as a reference guide for further development.

Gait's re-branding effort will begin showing up in production in 2012.
